Frequently asked questions and answers to help when your looking to hire a bouncy castle, we are sure you will find everything you need to know before going ahead and booking your bouncy castle

Q: When can I call your office?

A: Our office is open taking your calls between 9am-7pm weekends only. You can Contact Us via email 7 days a week.

Q: How do I book?

A: You can book a bouncy castle using our simple booking system on our website which is open 24/7 to accept your bookings. If you need more information you can use the How to book online page.

Q: My party or event is in a couple of days, but I haven’t received a text to confirm the delivery times?

A: Don't panic, you will receive a text message the evening before your party or event to confirm delivery times.

Q: Will you organise the delivery and set-up of the Bouncy Castle, inflatable and soft play?

A: Yes of course. Our fully trained staff will deliver and fully setup your bouncy castle, inflatable or soft play on the day.

Q: My garden is small, how much space will I need for the Bouncy Castle?

A: This depends on the Bouncy Castle or Inflatable you decide to hire as some require more space than others. We usually ask for 4ft extra space at the front and back and 2ft either side to allow for movement of the bouncy castle or inflatable. Click here for required space. We would be happy to discuss the requirements at any time or if need be we will be happy to come out and check which inflatable will fit, You can view the dimensions and required space of all our Bouncy Castles, Inflatables and soft play on our website.

Q: Are your Bouncy Castles and Inflatable's suitable for both indoor and outdoor use?

A: A majority of our bouncy castles are inflatables are suitable for indoor and outdoor use, some of our bouncy castles even come with shower covers to protect you from the elements. It will show on each product if it’s suitable for indoors/outdoors or booth. Some products such as our indoor bouncy castles and soft play are only suitable for indoor use.

Q: What preparations should I make before taking delivery of the Bouncy Castle?

A: We ask that you ensure we have a 3ft wide access to the site, 4ft for our larger castles. Please ensure the area is free from any sharp objects, excessive mud, pet much and garden toys, furniture etc. An electricity point is required within 40 m. We will be forced to refuse bookings for sites that are unsuitable for bouncy castles e.g. sloping, uneven or dirty gardens. If this is the case please call us before booking so we can come out and assess your garden to see if it is safe to hire a Bouncy Castle.

Q: The event is in a field and we have no power, can we still hire Bouncy Castle or Inflatable?

A: Yes you can, we can supply a petrol blower or generator at an extra cost Contact Us for more information.

Q: I have a really long garden, but the power is at my house, do you bring extra extension leads?

A: We always carry extra extension leads on our van, but it's always best to add in the notes when booking - long garden extra leads needed.

Q: I have no grass, can I still hire a Bouncy Castle on hard standing such as gravel, tarmac, slabs or block paving?

A: NO, Sadly to a change in our insurance policy we can no longer hire our bouncy castles for outdoor on hard surfaces, Sorry for any inconvenience.

Q: Do I need to cut my grass?

A: That's up to you, but if you do please cut it a few days before the hire. As wet grass on Bouncy Castles is really hard to remove.

Q: Will the bouncy castle damage my grass?

A: We use ground sheets on all Bouncy Castles, So all it will do is flatten your grass for a few days, and the holes for anchor pegs should disappear in no time.

Q: Can the bouncy castle over-inflate or pop during hot weather.

A: No, all our hire bouncy castles and inflatables are made in the traditional way of being stitched, which means air is constantly released through the seams whilst the fan blower maintains the pressure, making it impossible to over-inflate.

Q: Is the bouncy castle safe to use in hot weather?

A: Yes, as long as you keep the users well hydrated, and turn the electrics off every few hours to let them cool down for 10-15mins, our bouncy castles are 100% safe to use during hot weather. We send out a weather guide for our customers to follow for all weather conditions.

Q: Can you still hire a Bouncy Castle if access is through my house?

A: No problem, our smaller castles are fine to go through your house, but larger castles we need at least 3 - 4ft required space such as a side or back gate. (you may need help to assist the delivery driver holding doors open lifting up a step etc) please note, As we have to bring the bouncy castle through your house we use a sack barrow and there might be trails of mud, grass or leaves and water if it rains left on your carpet or floor. Please bear this in mind before booking.

Q: What happens if there are rain showers or it's slightly windy?

A: Don't panic, All our Bouncy Castle are anchored down and everything is waterproof, and all our outdoor bouncy castles have shower covers and are safe to use it moderate winds and light showers. If conditions worsen please switch of the bouncy castle and stop using the equipment, and call us so we can advise you on what to do. The maximum wind speed a bouncy castle can be used in is 24mph, if the wind is predicted to be above 24mph on the day we may have to cancel your booking due to safety concerns.

Q: Can I move or relocate the Bouncy Castle Or Inflatable?

A: Strictly No. Do not ever re-position the Bouncy Castle or Inflatable. By moving or repositioning the bouncy castle in any way will void our public liability insurance which covers our equipment whilst it’s on hire to you.

Q: Can adults use the Bouncy Castle?

A: Sorry strictly No Adults are allowed to use the Bouncy Castle unless it's specifically hired for adult use only and you have hire one of our Large Adult Bouncy Castles which are insured for adult use.

Q: How many children are allowed on the Bouncy Castle per each session?

A: Between 4 and 8 children of the same age and size, Depending on which Bouncy Castle you decide to hire.

Q: What are the times of hire per day?

A: We deliver from 8:00AM and our last collection is 7:00PM for home bookings and 6:30PM for venue bookings. if you wanted your bouncy castle for longer you can pay £10 extra for overnight and we will arrange to collect the next morning.

Q: How do I pay?

A: You pay 25% booking fee at the time of booking online and the remaining balance is paid by invoice by either bank transfer or card payment at least 48hrs prior to your booking date. The 25% booking fee is to hold your product(s) for your chosen date and Is none refundable at any time.

Q: How do I pay for School or Company / Event?

A: You can either pay via the above or pay via a cheque or bank transfer, payment must be received and cleared in our bank before the day of the event. Need more information Contact Us.

Q: Are your bouncy castles safety tested?

A: Yes all our bouncy castles and inflatables are tested every 12 months by a competent person, and weekly inspected before each hire, to make sure they are always safe to use, please read bouncy castle safety to understand more.

Q: Are you Fully Insured?

A: Yes. We have £5 Million Pound Public and Product Liability Insurance which covers accidents and injuries caused by equipment failure and improper installation. You the hirer are responsible for ensuring proper adult supervision of the Bouncy Castle or Inflatable, and the safety of the children using the equipment. We are not responsible for accidents and injuries other than those directly caused by faults in our equipment or improper installation.

Q: Which areas do you deliver to?

A: We deliver to the whole of Northamptonshire, and If you’re unsure whether we cover your area just Contact Us and we will be pleased to advise you.

Q: What's included in the price?

A: Delivery of the Bouncy Castle, Inflatable and Soft Play in the Northamptonshire area, set up, safety briefing, pack up and collection.

Q: When are your Bouncy Castles and Inflatable’s available for hire?

A: All year round. Spring & Summer (April to October - indoor & outdoors) Autumn - Winter (November to March - Indoors only)

Q: What time is the Bouncy Castle or Inflatable delivered?

A: This really is up to you as we always try to accommodate the delivery and collection times slots you have selected, however, during busier periods when customers are requesting similar hire times a compromise may be necessary. Customers hiring halls etc will be given priority due to their time restrictions.

Q: How far in advance should I book?

A: The earlier the better. Demand is always high for our Bouncy Castles, especially during the summer months. If you’re booking between May and September we recommend contacting us 4 - 6 weeks in advance.

Q: Can I book a Bouncy Castle for tomorrow or even today?

A: Sorry, we require 48hrs notice to accept your booking. We can sometimes help depending on availability for next day bookings, just Contact Us and we will let you know if we have any availability and if it’s possible to book.

Q: Can I hire a Bouncy Castles overnight?

A: Yes, you can hire the Bouncy Castle overnight if the location is secure to satisfy our insurance company, and if we can get access to pick the bouncy castle up the next morning between sometimes as early 7:00AM to 10:00AM. Overnight hires are available for an additional £10 charge.

Q: Can I make the delivery driver a cup of tea/coffee or juice in hot weather?

A: Yes please tea with one sugar!

A: A cold juice is always welcome when the wether is hot.

Q: Can I tip the delivery driver?

A: We will leave that one up to you!
